You may have noticed that the website has been extremely slow the last couple days, and in some cases doesn’t load at all. I’m in the process of migrating to a new server, which won’t be completed until Wednesday. I apologize for the interruptions and/or difficulties in reading Suburban Fairy Tales these last few days — especially being at the end of a storyline. On the plus side, after Wednesday, the site should be faster than ever. In the meantime if you still have difficulty accessing the site, GoComics.com also carries Suburban Fairy Tales under the Sherpa section.
For the first time ever, I have missed a scheduled comic update! I apologize to all my readers, but due to technical difficulties with the site, Monday’s update was never posted. The technical issue has been resolved and the update that was supposed to appear Monday the 11th is now live. I know it’s terrible to miss an update in the middle of a storyline, so again I’m very sorry for the interruption.
I’ve always made it a point to stick to my Monday, Wednesday, Friday update schedule, and longtime readers know that mistakes like this rarely happen. Let’s hope something like this never happens again! We now return to your regularly scheduled Suburban Fairy Tales.
Suburban Fairy Tales is featured in the July 2014 issue of Long Island Pulse Magazine! The article is titled “Animated Personalities” and talks about me and other cartoonists on Long Island.
In addition to talking about my current and past work, author Alex Costello also asked what super power I would like to have and which comics influenced me the most.
Check it out here.
A Pinocchio for Your Thoughts, the fourth and newest Suburban Fairy Tales collection is now available to purchase on Amazon! The book normally goes for $9.99, but Amazon has it on sale right now for $8.99.
In addition to collecting two years worth of Suburban Fairy Tales comic strips, the book also features lots of funny extras like Wolf’s Muffin Recipe, The Little Pigs’ Top 15 Video Games, and a spoof on the first issue of Action Comics.

“I would place Suburban Fairy Tales in the LOL department. Bonnet’s humor is rapid fire and continuously hits the mark. Fairy tales will never be the same again.”
-RON FERDINAND, SUNDAY ARTIST, DENNIS THE MENACE
I received a special piece of fan art from Sheryl Schopfer, creator of the webcomic Deer Me. The piece shows Pinocchio and Red Riding Hood together as they gaze at each other rather lovingly, which is funny because Sheryl drew this particular piece before Pinocchio and Red went on their date!
If anyone else would like to contribute fan art, please send it to contact@suburbanfairytales.com and I’ll display it on the site!
