Yes, yes, I know I should have created a Suburban Fairy Tales Facebook page years ago. Well, better late than never, right? The Facebook page is live and ready to be liked. So please like me! www.facebook.com/suburbanfairytales
All three Suburban Fairy Tales books are now available on Kindle! If you’ve got a Kindle device, or even if you have the Kindle app for Android/iPhone/iPad, you’ll now be able to read Suburban Fairy Tales as an ebook. The prices for the Kindle version of all three books are cheaper than the paperback. Head on over to Amazon and check it out.
Suburban Fairy Tales: A Comic Strip Collection KINDLE EDITION
Well, Eternal Con turned out to be a huge success! Attendance was double was was originally estimated, and that helped not only me, but all the other artists and vendors (and fans!) who ended up coming.
The Suburban Fairy Tales booth was visited by a few old fans, but most of the traffic were by people who were hearing about it for the first time. We sold lots of books, I drew lots of sketches, and did a lot of signings. The building was hopping with comic fans and I appreciate everyone who came by the booth to see what Suburban Fairy Tales was all about.
An excellent post-event article was written by Achilles Solomos of ComicsCrux, which wraps up the events of the convention very nicely (complete with photos). You can read about it here.
Hope to see everyone at Eternal Con next year!
Just reminding everyone that Eternal Con is this Saturday, June 16, at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York. It’s turning out to be a bigger comic convention than anyone expected with tons of guests and vendors.
The convention runs from 10am till 6pm, and I’ll be there selling and promoting my books and giving away free sketches. If you live in the area (or even if you don’t) come on down and check it out! Tell your friends and family. There will be a lot to see and do. Check out the Eternal Con website for more information.
The bad news is that it looks like I won’t be able to do NY Comic Con this year, but the good news is that I’ll be doing some smaller conventions/trade shows around the New York area instead.
First on my list is Eternal Con, a comic book and collectibles convention that will be held on Saturday, June 15 at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York. This is the first year they’re holding Eternal Con, so I don’t know exactly what to expect, but it looks like they’ve got a lot of interesting guests attending. Suburban Fairy Tales will have its own booth and yours truly will be signing books and giving away free sketches.
If you live in the New York/Long Island area come give a look-see. For more information check out EternalCon.com.
